Having worked in the luxury flower industry in London for almost 20 years, it's Ruths' aim to share her longstanding love of flowers and the joy they bring with others. Creating memorable displays to compliment your day and venue.
We've been lucky enough to flower in some of the countries most beautiful venues, and love nothing more than helping you envisage your event before bringing it to life.
We only work with the highest quality product, using trusted suppliers and sustainable techniques.

Sustainability at Papaver Studio
At Papaver Studio, our work begins with a deep appreciation for the beauty of the natural world. Flowers are at the heart of every celebration we create, and with that comes a responsibility to care for the environment that inspires us.
Sustainability is not a destination but an ongoing commitment. We continuously seek thoughtful ways to reduce our environmental impact while creating abundant, romantic floral designs for weddings and events across Buckinghamshire, London and beyond.
Seasonal and Thoughtfully Sourced Flowers
Whenever possible, we prioritise British-grown and seasonal flowers, celebrating the beauty of each season and supporting local growers and flower farmers. Working with nature’s rhythms allows us to create designs that feel authentic, unique and deeply connected to the time and place of your celebration.
When certain flowers are unavailable locally, we carefully source from trusted suppliers who share our values and are committed to responsible growing practices.
Foam-Free Floristry
We are committed to creating our designs without the use of traditional floral foam whenever possible. a single-use plastic that contributes to microplastic pollution. Instead, we use reusable and environmentally conscious mechanics such as chicken wire, moss, reusable vessels and other sustainable techniques that allow us to create naturally styled arrangements without compromising on beauty.
Reducing Waste
We order flowers thoughtfully and with intention, aiming to minimise excess wherever possible. As a small studio based business we only buy in what is needed for our pre-booked events. Any green waste generated in the studio is composted or responsibly disposed of, and we reuse and recycle packaging and materials whenever we can.
We also encourage our couples and clients to consider repurposing ceremony flowers throughout their celebration and, where possible, donating flowers after an event so they can continue to bring joy beyond the day itself.

As a small independent studio, we believe meaningful change comes from making considered choices every day. We are always learning, questioning and refining our practices as the floristry industry evolves.
